Air Conditioner
The Ruud Achiever 10 works by transfering heat from inside your home to outside your home. Indoors, air is blown across an indoor coil that is filled with a continuous flow of refrigerant. This flow of refrigerant is pumped by the scroll compressor located outside in the condensing unit. The refrigerant draws the heat and moisture from the indoor air that is circulated across the indoor coil and throughout your home. As the refrigerant picks up the heat from inside, it transports it to an outside coil where that heat is released into the atmosphere. The refrigerant is then pumped back inside to do its job once again.
